There's A Fanmade Hawkeye Infinity War Poster, Because Of Course

Another day, another superhero fan poster. This week, Marvel released some super cool images of the Avengers ahead of the big release of Avengers: Infinity War. Like the other marketing for the upcoming movie, Hawkeye and Ant-Man were missing. However, thanks to one very creative artist, if you've been wanting to see Hawkeye in all of this, you can check out the new fan art, below.

The art comes from BossLogic, who is all about giving fans tantalizing looks at potential castings and characters for quite some time now. The looks at Hawkeye, including this poster that totally matches in the series, are particularly compelling. People want to know what Hawkeye is up to during Avengers: Infinity War, and fan theories have indicated he is going to become Ronin. Case in point, this version of Hawkeye has him looking like Ronin, complete with a brand new look.

Of course, what this image depicts may not be where Avengers: Infinity War and the subsequent and still not fully titled Avengers 4 goes at all, but we have heard several things that help to indicate Ronin might be the path the movie takes. First and foremost, there have been hints parts of Avengers 4 may be set in Japan, and that Clint Barton may change personalities somewhat, following events that reportedly occur in Avengers: Infinity War. Although different Marvel characters have become Ronin in the comics, it seems as if Barton might be the one taking on the identity coming up in the MCU.

What's definitely true is that Hawkeye will be in a different position than the other Avengers in this movie. We've heard people involved with the movie talk a little bit about Hawkeye's situation moving forward. Following the events that happened in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo told CinemaBlend that Hawkeye will be "on his own journey" and he'll be "in a special spot" during the upcoming film.

It should be said that Jeremy Renner seems pretty into all of the fan depictions of him changing looks and characters. Although Marvel hasn't revealed anything spoiler-y, he's shared fan art and more depicting his character changing to become Ronin, so he at least thinks the idea is cool. In addition, although the art has avoided him, we know he was at least on set for the filming of Avengers 4, so he will factor in at some point. Luckily, we don't have too much longer to wait to see the direction Avengers: Infinity War is going in. The movie has landed an early release date on April 27.
